Rock Adventure #2

We decided we loved rock hunting so much that we took it to the next level. We drove down to the reef and camped(freezing cold by the way), in the morning we hunted for rocks and found some keepers.
Actually a lot of keepers, what do you do with rocks you have collected?

The True Blue Brownest Boy

This blog is dedicated to the first Brown Boy of our little Brown family. The one our little Brown Boys most resemble.

I always write about our Boys but never about the one who influences their lives so much, and shapes them into these cute, adventureous, smart, loveable little ones we so much enjoy and admire. Art is the rock of this family. He is so fun, always ready and planning a new adventure. So loving, and patient and quick to forgive. He is such an example to me in so many ways. He is ready to be of service at any given moment for anyone in any way. He is so smart, constantly teaching me and the boys good and wonderful things. He is truely my best friend and I am so grateful to have him in my life. Thank you Art for carrying us all with you as you live your life to the fullest. We love you one billion-trillion-cadrillion times million.

Rock Hunting

Art loves his Geology class this semester and it is rubbing off on all of us. We are learning all about the land and why it is formed the way it is. We have become true rock hunters. Our first Rockhounding adventure was in Nephi, Ut. We found a huge quarry of Calcite Onyx, and now we have a huge quarry in our kitchen.

Eli happy as can be hiking! He led the way most of the time.

Great family trip, thanks Art.

Not so funny!

Two little Angels... I think not!

Last Thursday, (my hard day because Art is gone all day until late, late) as I was feeding a very hungry Wesley at the end of a long day, Eli comes in with his Dog Dog covered in black. It took a few moments for me to realize that it was covered in dirt. I just put two floor plants inside so they would survive the winter... not a good idea. Eli had a fun time digging in the dirt with Dog Dog and then spreading it everywhere.
Needless to say the plant is now outside to fend for itself.

The joys of Motherhood!

Happy Halloween

like all our pumpkins....they are from our garden thats why they are all green.

FALL

Happy Fall Everyone!

I love to eat!

Wesley has started eating and he loves it. He is so good at feeding himself already and eats way more then Eli ever ate at his age. I guess learning how to cook for a family of six will come in useful after all(for now there are just a lot of left overs unless we invite someone over or Jed is around)

Y mountain

Always a fun hike up to the Y. Short and Sweet but Steep.

Happy Birthday Eli

Eli turned two on Thursday. We didn't do much for him since his party will be this
Saturday but he did get to open gifts from the Grandparents and boy was he in heaven.
Check it out.

Family Fall Photos

On Sunday we drove up to squaw peak road to take some family pictures and enjoy the changing of the leaves. It is so beautiful. We managed to get one where everyone is looking at the camera and Eli wasn't winking.
We didn't realize until afterward that Eli was winking at the camera in over half of the pictures, such a silly kid. Ever since we went to Wingers for dinner and Eli saw this poster of a sauce bottle winking, he has been practicing how to wink and winking at everyone. So he picked it up all by himself and apparently thought it would be a nice touch to our family photos.

Family

Within a two week period the boys got see tons of family. They loved it. First the Browns came out for the Garners baby blessing, then I took the kids to California to see the Stout Family. Here are some photos.

Brown Grandparents with all their grand babies.

Grandma Great Stout and Grandmama Perry

Of course we visited Grampy at the Bakery

and Grammie at her school. Eli had a great time in her class room. He also enjoyed spending the weekend with Uncle Jedediah!

PJ TIME

Night time is the best (when Daddy is around)! The boys enjoy their night time ritual after dinner which includes, bath, wrestle, clean up, books, milk, teeth, prayers, bed, song. Yikes, pretty exhausting if you ask me. With this cooler weather the boys are back in sleepers and looking super cute. Here are some pictures.

Eli loves Cars

I'm quite positive that anyone who has spent time with Eli knows how much he loves cars. He can play with cars, watch cars, name cars, read about cars all day. He always has a car in hand, or two or three. The other day I found him looking at the news paper classifieds and yep, thats right he was scoping out the Car selection. Not even two yet and he is already checking out used cars...ahhhh.

I love Sundays!
