Winter is Here!

Well actually it has been here for quite awhile now. Turns out that Ann Arbor on average has colder temperatures and more precipitation than Utah. Who would have thought? Everyone as been saying watch out for the Michigan winters!! Art and I have been a little miffed, thinking hello, we just moved from Utah(best snow on earth). I am beginning to see what they mean and it really hasn't even been a month.....argggg. Florida will be a wonderful, welcomed move. (Besides having to leave family!)
Along with winter comes FINALS. Finals are here for Art and basically we get to see him for 2 hours a day, for the past 3 weeks and following one week.(Which is probably why I am writing more then usual on my blog and straying from the main objective of this blog which is the Brown Boys.) Good Luck Art!
The biggest thing for the boys right now is Christmas coming, seeing cousins, and Thomas the train. That is the main topic of all conversation in our house.
On a more positive note, winter and the holidays bring so much joy to our family. The joys of hearing from and remembering friends that we love and miss, seeing family and creating wonderful new memories together, and clearly the joy of giving that reminds us of our Savior, who has given the most wonderful gift to all. I speak of the gift of his perfect love for each of us. I know that he truly did die for us, so that we might be given the opportunity to find peace and joy in this life and in the life to come.
In these memories and joys we welcome winter and all its cold, wet, frostiness!

Our Beautiful Boys

Here a few cute pictures of the beautiful Brown boys. We are so blessed!

Family Fall Photos

We tried a couple times to do some family photos. Not award winning but we had a great time doing it! Most were taken in the Arboretum, most beautiful place especially in the fall.

Some Fall Fun

Eli's personal favorite is do drive up the huge parking garage down town.

Riding the bus to the down town library and walking home. We had to stop at the locals only donuts shop. They gave us the look like you are not locals why are you here!

The boys favorite thing is to spot a rescue vehicle. Well this sweet man made their dreams come true by inviting the on board for a closer look. They both were in Heaven.

The all time family favorite was canoeing on the Huron River.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year, best part was visiting Daddy at school!

Congratulations Grammie!!

Congrats to our little Grammie who just graduated from the SWA intensive training.
She is now our very own stewardess, which means we will get to see her more often.
We already benefited, after her graduation she flew out here and spent the weekend with us. We went apple picking and then drove up to Mackinaw Island for Telias half marathon.

Wesley was in Heaven at the apple orchards! He would pick up and apple take a bite, pick up another one, take another bite, all the apples he could eat.

Riding the boat to the Island

LaGrand Hotel (Same one from the movie Somewhere in Time) It was 10 dollars just to walk through it!

Telia running an awesome race!

Happy Birthday Eli!!!!!

Eli turned Three this year. It was a great birthday. It started with a yummy breakfast with Aunt Telia and Uncle Ben and baby Aeden. Then Eli, Aunt Telia, Aeden and I all went to the Michigan Game. So crazy and so fun! To much fun cause Eli fell asleep the last five most exciting minutes of the game. Later we had a little party, Eli seemed to love every minute of his big day!

Our Trip to New York City

Telia, our friend AnnMarie and I decided to take a trip to New York with our 5 kids(all together).
We created many great memories, some of my favorites were:
The Hershey Factory Tour.
The boys excitement to board and ride the Train.
Two beautiful hotels with swimming pools for an evening dip.
Walking out of Penn Station into swarms of people, traffic, noise, large buildings(kind of scary actually with kiddos).
Getting to see our wonderful friend Angie!
Seeing the statue of Liberty from afar.
And finally coming home to Husbands helping hands!
