Truly we feel like we are on an extended vacation. Virgina is so awesome and so close to a million things to see. The boys think they are in Heaven. Every time we leave our "hotel room" (that is the feeling you get in our apt) they are exposed to trains, boats, bridges and airplanes.
We try to go to D.C at least 3 times a week. It is super easy we just jump on the metro and we are there. We have seen so much already. The boys favorite is the Air and Space Museum and we also really enjoy, the Zoo, Great Falls National Park and of course the Temple.

I don't know if you remember me, this is Melissa Pugmire now Wise, I grew up with Michelle up in Ferndale and we were roommates at the Y. My husband and I are also in Virginia for the summer, Arlington to be exact... where are you and Art at? We've been heading to some of the same places: temple, zoo, monuments, etc. I was just wondering how close we were, it'd be fun to see you guys again!
Sierra, how fun you guys are in DC? We were out there for 2 years. Shucks! Sounds like we just missed ya. Where are you living? We lived in Alexandria and Arlington. I loved that place. Commutes were crazy, but there was so much fun to do with the kids during the day and parks/museums everywhere! I recognized the pic of you and your boys at Roosevelt Island. We loved that place. So peaceful. I'd love to catch up with you. How long will you be out there? Hugs, Anna
What an amazing place to live! And how awesome for your boys. Tyson has fond memories of a few years he lived near D.C. as a boy. We miss you guys and love your blog pictures and updates!
I love seeing your fam Sierra. I can't believe how grown up your boys are. It's sort of surreal to see them and just how we grow up- all of us! :) They are so cute. We miss you guys.
